"Can't be real"

"Can't be real"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage

I walk into rooms

Steel walls all around

Afraid of what looms

So I look at the ground

Rejection hurts

Love hurts more

Like being pushed to the dirt

Or held to the floor

And as soon as I let

My steel walls come down

I panic and fret

Waiting for the sound

Of your soothing tone

Everytime you speak

Sends chills to my toes

It's you I seek

I found you

Or did you find me

Nothing more to do

Nothing left to see

My heart will be shot

Just as it always is

Just when I thought

I felt love like this.
