I hate Shopping

I hate Shopping

A Poem by Miss K. Minilla

I scrape the bottom of the barrell to find love

Seems like all the good ones are taken

only ones that are left are the good for nothings

that nobody wants

I'm tired of shopping

Trying to find that one good man

yet having to return him

I'm tired of fighting with the other

girl to get his attention

Trying to get a man is like trying to buy that one

perfect dress.

Oh God please help me find that perfect man

So i can wear that perfect dress

I dont want a man with wears and tears

I dont want a man that's been used

I want that perfect man

I'm tired of shopping for him...

Why cant he shop for me?

This is profound!
Some may view this as just a beautiful poem which it is, but within it I can hear a young woman longing for the order that was designed by God... For a man to pursue, appreciate, and encourage his woman not to waste her time by burdening her with his immaturity.
It saddens me to watch how a great deal of men today have allowed the entertainment and music industry to mold them into what they interpret as being a "real" man, oblivious to the fact that the media's philosophies are conjured without nearly enough thought or attention being devoted to God's most amazing idea... A woman.
Its a beautiful yet rare occurrence to hear a young woman think the way you do, never change because you deserve whatever you can fathom.
A man would be privileged to have someone like you and some day that man will introduce himself.
And you'll live happily ever after! lol

I like your poem and I look forward to reading more of your work!

If you want a perfect man then get piece of paper and a pencil and make the perfect man list. Decide what you will accept and want in an man and what you don't want and then don't accept anything less.

I'm liking this big time, girl I was understandin you up an down this poem!
I like how as I read it I was agreeing with everything you said. It's fustrating to
find those beautiful pair of dark blue jeans that fit just right but realize that
the whole store had been scoping them out. I love this, and the feeling of being
tired of shopping for hours and coming out with nothing is great. I really enjoyed this
nice write!

Awesome. Not at all what I expected. I love the realization in the end though. The good one will always come to you if you just let it. This work is funny yet poignant, a great combo if you can pull it off, which you do nicely.
