A Night of Reveling

A Night of Reveling

A Poem by Kamran
"

My only piece of poetry, linked to another story. It's short, but is meant to be interpreted by the reader.

"

A man must be ridden of hence evils,

His soul split of all desire;

To stand forth a hero, a lover,

A fighter beyond our comparison.

Death has not befallen a lover,

For love itself protects the soul;

Torturous manner, likely guaranteed,

Love cannot protect such a deed.

To love once more, the soul must purify,

Removal of sin, therefore and hereby;

I do promise to always be in sight,

Until found, I bid you Good Night

I like the logic of this poem. I believe some sins cannot be forgiven.
"Torturous manner, likely guaranteed,
Love cannot protect such a deed."
Love can protect and shield but when cold and evil heart is the desire. Hard to be saved after swimming in hate and misery. A excellent poem. You made me think.
