Nowhere To Hide

Nowhere To Hide

A Poem by Kaylee Marlin

I walk this world in the day,

To get away from the night,

Afraid of what would come my way,

When the darkness swollows the light.

When you're coming for me,

I run for my life,

And all that I can see,

Is that you're holding a knife.

You stab me through the heart,

And all that I could feel,

Is that we were being pulled apart,

By a pain so real.

It's hard not to cry,

While we're laying side-by-side,

It's truely a cruel way to die,

When there's nowhere to hide.
