Nowhere To HideA Poem by Kaylee MarlinI walk this world in the day, To get away from the night, Afraid of what would come my way, When the darkness swollows the light.
When you're coming for me, I run for my life, And all that I can see, Is that you're holding a knife.
You stab me through the heart, And all that I could feel, Is that we were being pulled apart, By a pain so real.
It's hard not to cry, While we're laying side-by-side, It's truely a cruel way to die, When there's nowhere to hide.
