I have to disagree with DreamSharper...the reason why I love your poems so much is because you have to think cafefully about each word given and figure out what they really mean. I love this poem(:

I think you are referring to the happiness of the Shepard because his one lost sheep has returned to the flock. I understand that the Shepard's heart grieves for that one lost sheep even though he has a huge flock and his heart rejoices when that one lost sheep is found again and comes home. :) XX
