Welcome to the rainy season

The water drops bearing leaves...

New hopes budding in our mind !

I like the thought of new leaves being linked to fresh hopes. I think this poem gives me a new appreciating of just how horrible the dry season can be. You have shown me the positive, a completely organic euphoria, and it has unlocked others things in this world for me.

7-7-7? Is that the american haiku syllables scheme? Reading usually to japanese ones i got used to 5-7-5 so that definitely caught my attention, anyway talking about the haiku itself .... FINALLY !!! I hope you don't get hurt but i didn't really like the last haikus i've read from yours, but this one, this one is good ! First of all, i can finally see a kigo ! In this case represented by the "rainy season", then i can finally see a "natural theme", you've developed it into something personal which is great (last verse) but the main theme is nature, the great haiku-poet Shiki would definitely kill me but i think "real" haikus must be about nature !
Great job, great outcome, loved it !

Love the imagery, it seems so simple yet can speak so much.
