I see an Ambitious boy in me, who just wants to be free, having dreams in his eyes, tries to come out, even when I pee..
Suppressed by others, he suffers to do something big, and glitter, 'follow his dreams' is all he wants to do, it's my life s***ers, who the hell are YOU?
'What will happen if he doesn't succeed?' It's my life, I AM ready to take the risk! Money is nothing but a piece of sh*t, in his definition of 'success', it doesn't fit..
His dreams are ruined, by the people's 'conservatism,' they are so, so cruel, to someone's priceless 'ambition..'
I see an ambitious boy in me, who wants to follow his dreams, you have to trust him and me, he is not as incapable as he seems..
Nice one.. :) Its so true. I think the society by and large isn't ready to come out of this make-belief world were most people believe there are only a few things to do that can be considered worthwhile.. and as a child grows up these misconceptions are often thrust upon him. It is nice for you to have painted the story without beating about the bush.. :)
A poem that open the door to many questions. Great dreams are done by brave people. To live a fearless life and do what you desire. Few will try. The easy road of work and money will take the most of us. I like the way you described the desire for dreams. Thank you for a excellent poem.
