Enough to blind

Enough to blind

A Poem by Clara Kevie

A minor obsession
A major illusion
Drawing it all, used all the lead
Stand back and breathe. Take it in
It's too much truth, enough to blind.

A minor lesson
A major contortion
Can't stand it, how it shines bright
Shut eyes lead to blind amends
Closer is painful, yet it draws near

A minor intention
A major impulsion
Touching the unabridged, crystal fear
Smudged. Then creased. Then folded.
Crushed to remove it from sight

A minor dent
A major light
Compression fails to hide the gleam
Tearing apart the lines, the life of it
But persistence is something shared

A minor inconvenience
A major ascent
Shredded, the pieces become stars
Intentions of scaring words as revenge
Turned on its head to light the sky

A minor fault
A major result
No longer bleeding; leading the way.
The whole of the truth, the luminosity
Aids all who open their eyes.
