Once Upon A Time, I Love You

Once Upon A Time, I Love You

A Poem by Clara Kevie
"

The speaker falls in love with the writer

"
Once upon a time,
You picked me up
You saw my soul,
Once upon a time.

I love you,
Though I we have never meet officially,
Though we likely will never together be,
I love you.

Time and time again,
Through hardships you've seen me.
Through thick and thin,
time and time again.

I love you,
Though there is no way to run across each other.
Though I will never know if my unlikely love is requited ,
I love you

Sometimes,
You ensured I come out the other end.
You reassured me that I have purpose,
Sometimes.

I love you,
Though my story seems short and I seem inadequate
Though it makes my cry myself to sleep,
I love you.

The end
Only comes when your interest stops
Only comes after despair…
Before our tears that will try to fill the rip in our heart start to pour,
The end.
