Not In a Box

Not In a Box

A Poem by Clara Kevie

Don't put me in a box
in a box
in a box
It'll be struggle as I grow to want to keep it intact
You don't know how flimsy the walls get
When I grow in strength, in size, in depth
As I become too powerful to keep as a pet
When I grow in strength, in size, in depth
As I become too powerful to not be a threat
I'll want to break the walls down, down, down
If not out of spite,
It's because all the boxes just aren't right
It's like you're teaching
just counting numbers
1, 2, 3, and nothing in-between
No halfs, no sharing, no imperfect roots
No complex, no zero, no +/- 2?
You just assume so many things divide by zero,
You ignore things when you don't have sufficient information.
Friend, I know something for a fact"you need an education.
