Sworn Secrets

Sworn Secrets

A Story by KalmeChaos

Little girl blue,
She was all alone
Plenty of people around
But removed from her home
She didn't know a soul
just the bruises on her arm
her little life had a gaping hole
she walked into a new nightmare all along
they were going to protect her
the police had sworn
but nobody would know
all to afraid to blow the horn

I'm so sorry to hear about your bad experience. I adopted my two children; they are grown now and I'm raising my grandson who is now 13. His dad and mom weren't able to care for him and his sister. The parents are divorced now and my granddaughter, who lived with me as well until a year ago, has rejoined her mom who is doing well. My son has mental problems and lives with his sister and her husband. I'm glad I can be there for my grandson. May you find healing from what you've been through. On a side note, it's sad your church believed in your new parents and didn't rescue you. Religion sometimes harms. I used to be a conservative Christian; I have evolved into a "liberal" and can see ways that churches have harmed.

Hellos, Dear, KalmeChaos,
that's harsh, I can't imagine abuse.

Thank you for sharing, :(
