Day Washed Away
A normal day Washed away When you entered the room It became a gloom Like those eyes in your head That scare me out of bed The darkness of you Keeps my spirit blue The color of jealousy and stress My mind scatters into a disheveled mess Clear, blue skies Darken when I realize Gray clouds of doom Soar beyond my tomb Of the childish smile That lies too many miles Behind my worn down form To be recovered from your destructive storm Every attempt I make To get out of the bake That burns my lovable side There you are like a high tide Pushing me back to be confined By the restless days that have no shine You are Tartarus An agonizing abyss Where the monsters can rest Then wake up and at best Kill me quickly enough For me to breathe only one huff Before I bleed out To prevent my last shout For others to hear And be steered Away from you and your lies That sucked me in after unbearable sighs That you stealthily gave To secretly dig my grave And before I knew Out of the blew Boom!
A
shot fired Requiring me to retire To my painful seat As a sign of defeat Because you have wasted My time to sit by and be tasted For surrender during the war That has led to a tore In my entire mind To decide to sign Away my morals and rights In order to keep in the little light Left from this world That was the one to have hurled My body into the corruption And the wincing destruction Of you and the flawless disguise
