Ugly Butter(not)fly

Ugly Butter(not)fly

A Poem by SophietheSloth

Hi moon
my stick-like fingers are getting softer
haven't touched the violin in a while
do u miss my tunes
or the way i hum
the shadows of your curves remind me of an ugly butterfly
the kind o butterfly you want to prison in your sweaty hands
play with a little bit till you break one of its wings
once that happens, butterfly commits suicide by holding her breath
you never caught the pretty colorful butterfly
she has to live, inspire more flowers
don't you think, moon?
i think there's an empty brain . in your brain
you're holding so much tears inside you that are waiting to burst out
is that why you to try to steal our salty seas?
change the design of our shores
