Asymmetrical Cosmos

Asymmetrical Cosmos

A Story by SophietheSloth

Hey, sleepy eye

Don't notice me
one dimpled being

Some nerve you've got
inspecting the scenery of other beings
luring your ivory teeth to stumble

But wait! you're gazing at the sun again
Just look at me
I'll give you a case of a crooked soul

Your reluctant posture
Not so angelic, are you?
A jazz melody out of universal dust

I'm stuffed with the stares you're not giving
I wish I can see the world's magic through your eyes
How are the stars doing?
They've pulled my curtains towards them

How can something be furnished so much with gravity
your sleepy eyes, oh
let me examine their imperfect design
the gradient, the contrast

As if they'd collapsed and reassembled
like a mosaic . like this cosmos
Promise me you'll blink at the same time
a wink will only disturb my heart's sphere

Explosions, explosions
3,604 hairs dancing on your forehead
teasing the calmness of your frown
The sky shall be tranquil this evening

and your face shows no emotions now
Now, is a delicacy
I cursed the sun for moving that day
telling me your eyes shine no more
defining the depth of your cheek bones

Recklessly, you blink
irritating the moon's wrinkles once again
Can you imagine ghosts in space?
or even a smile cause by me?

One dimpled being
I know it's a horrible world
and I know you can't hate and I know you can't love
don't let your eye sight mirror mine
I'll shoot your numbness

You foolish being,
close your eye lids
I can't see the shooting star!
