Heavens Arise...

Heavens Arise...

A Poem by Kajal Gulabani

A wondrous full moon day it had been,
Tranquillity shone out in full beam.
Each tide swung in full joy and reverie,
Losing itself in the arms of vast sea.
There she stood- weary and aloof,
With tickled thoughts battling through.
'If I could be one such tide';
she wished,
Longing for submission with pride.
If it soothes my tearful eyes,
If it takes away worldly ties,
Here I shed my feign smiles,
Diving in the depths where heavens arise!!

This was quite beautiful, soothing and absolutely calming.

I would honestly like to comment on the very first line of the poem, which I may have found discomfort in reading. I would suggest omitting the "day", as it doesn't feel right, but that's just of my opinion.

All in all, it really is very beautiful!
