Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Kajal Gulabani

Dreams are as delicate as petals,
Totally beyond my reach!
When i open my dreamy eyes,
My helpless soul always cries.
Each tear has its own story,
Enveloping darkness and no glory!
I try to gather them but in vain,
They get scattered leaving only pain.
Listen- my beloved,
Walk slowly as you walk on them.
You are my only desire-my only hope,
Longing for immense love and care,
My restless heart wanders here and there.
Yes-you just touched me- you are here!
Whilst I realized it was a dream again,
One more tear....

To dream but not in vain, would that not relieve the pain? I think not.

Beautiful imagery.

Thank you so much :)
A bit odd, but who am I to judge on that, I think it's an interesting choice in subject matter, and you have strong voice, however I am the kind of person that care that the third line contains an un-capatalized "I".
