Rain

Rain

A Poem by Kaito Asuke
"

Something new that came out of watching the rain fall and listening to some classical music. I was shocked I could still acquire inspiration. Enjoy.

"
It rains in the twilight,
drop by drop,
drop by drop,
each drop echoes each drop;

each drop drips
between the crevices,
falling through
and filling along.

Some drip in twos,
some in threes,
but all pool the same;

the drops continue to drop,
dripping and splashing;
ripples of all sizes
dance along to a vicarious rhythm.

The rain stops,
the last drop falls,
the song ends.

WOW that is a really awesome poem. i love how you made "drop by drop" your repitition and its not one of those really boring poems. its short, fun and bubbly. Also i love how you got your inspiration from something as simple as watching rain. something that happens in our daily lives. really lovely ;)

It appears as though this poem might also refer to people and how they move through their lives with relation to each other.
