Broken Rose [7-19-06]

Broken Rose [7-19-06]

A Poem by Kaito Asuke

A tiny petal falls,
A broken rose against the cold.
But to no avail;
Its luster faded,
Its beauty withered,
Its hope shattered
Its pride stripped.
It lies; broken.

The best poems are the ones that are written in the simplest words. This says it all. Love it.
