A Million PiecesA Poem by trying_to_write
i waited for you.
Like an idiot, i waited. i walked the moon four times, before i gave up. Sitting alone in a crater, my heart into shattered pieces, you finally showed up. i yelled and i screamed. you did this to me! i shouted, pointing at the broken pieces scattered on the ground. But you just stood there, calm. You waited until i was finished, then picked up every bit of my heart, put it back together, and gave it back. Just like you’ve done, every other time. © 2019 trying_to_writeFeatured Review
