Little Miss

Little Miss

A Poem by Addie Ward
"

[[song]]

"

So, who do you think you are,

Little Miss "I Deserve Better Than This"?

Do you think you're some shining star

that makes no mistakes? Well I beg to differ.

Who do you think has wished on you

hoping and praying that one day you'll come true?

One of these days you'll just crash and burn

you'll hit the ground before you learn.

Just look at all the hearts you've tossed on the floor

all the while screaming "I want more, love me more!"

Just look at all the promises you've broken,

look at all the lies you've told when you knew that you couldn't win.

So where do you go from here,

Little Miss "I Deserve Better Than You"?

Did you think you could run away,

that you could escape from all your issues?

Who do you think would take a chance

on loving you? It's a sharp-blade romance.

One of these days you will be bled

of your 'mistakes' and your 'misfortunes'.

Just look at all the hearts you've tossed on the floor

all the while screaming "I want more, love me more!"

Just look at all the promises you've broken,

look at all the lies you've told when you knew that you couldn't win.
