A pain,

a tearing at the seams,

tears cutting my cheeks like razorblabes,

I'm unable to stop,

Without the knowlage of how to do so.

 

A ripping,

my lungs burst out past my rib cage,

I hold myself together for fear of falling upart,

regret is the substance of my tear-filled eyes,

you pulled me out of my zombie-like state,

out of the world where numbness ruled,

 

Slowly I began to feel,

Happiness surrounded my heart,

with your loving eyes and comforting hands,

 

But you betrayed your promise,

and my heart was unguarded,

now it beats broken.
