love and Lust

love and Lust

A Poem by Kailee

What if love wasn't love but love was lust?

And all things know to loyalty were betrayed by trust?

Have passion become misery, sorrow or grief,

Things to which we have in now valued disbelief,

If misery truly loved company than how could it hurt?

together and happiness....taken for more than they are worth.

What if love wasn't love but love was lust?

Surely all we love and stand for wouldn't mean so much.
