TogetherA Poem by kahlen369Short and sweet, our mornings together, on this chilly September. Her laughter Runs along the curve of her back Like tiny silver coins I trace circles in the hollows of her form She is stronger than she looks Her legs hook around me and pull me down We fall in a tumble of hair and feathers White on white as We move together A rhythm against the silent waves Such lovely aching beats She shudders when she gasps Softly, near silently A contented sigh drifts lazily into the air The morning is chilly But we are warm in the bed Together © 2013 kahlen369 |
