Yesterday,Today and TomorrowA Poem by kagemushaunknown for unknowns.Every morning I will sigh Looking up at the white ceiling above my head, Silently asking myself, ‘Why am I still alive?’
I know, Today is just another of yesterday. Today will be just the same as yesterday and tomorrow. Dragging my cold feet to a prison called school, Watching the sun emerge from the east, Only to watch it set in the west again, Just like yesterday.
I know, Today will just be another vain attempt of mine, Trying to run away from monsters called society. Wiping my unshed tears as the cold wind push me aback. I will fall again just like yesterday, And cry just like I will tomorrow.
I know, Today will just be another day that, I will watch my broken dreams, Falling like a sand between my bleeding fingers. Constantly slapping myself to wake up, Watching my own dreams crumble beneath my feet, As the reality hits me.
Again tonight, I will close my teary eyes just like yesterday, Silently praying that tomorrow won’t be the same. © 2015 kagemushaAuthor's Note
