For Evil is a Different Breed

For Evil is a Different Breed

A Poem by Kaelyn

In a corner dark

Face, grime and dirt, tears

Hands behind back, blood and blisters

Throat raw and lips cracked

Eyes swollen, head hung low

Don’t touch me

In a room small

Ribs, bruised and broken, hurt

Legs collected underneath, sweat and scars

Hair entangled and nails bit

Arms shake, body trembles

Don’t touch me

In a world wicked

Girl, innocent and beautiful, stolen

Life on the line, young and marred

Future torn and past forgotten

Here is now, now is forever

Don’t touch me
