I've been on this road for a while.

Broken and torn.

Between my heart and my mind.

Confused on whether to turn left or right.

Scared to love you and lose my sight.

Tired of wanting the love I once had. 

But eager to have it back.

You have your way of bringing me down. 

I want to think you don't mean it.

Trying to drown out the sound.

But where is the limit.

When my vision isn't clear.

One minute I have you close.

I have you near.

Caught in a world where no one resides.

I've been on this road for a while.
