SynthesisA Poem by K.L.JaxInspired by a beautiful February day in Georgia
It puts the words back in me.
It connects mouth to soul to fingers to keyboard. I am afloat, drifting seamlessness through space with lazy eyes and dry tongue, cradled by the universe that surrounds me. It is a thoroughly spiritual experience and I am sure of this moment. I ebb and flow, tick and tock, inhale then exhale. So sure in the repetition. So relaxed and grateful for the beauty that is now. So enraptured by the perfection of stillness, the heartbeat of comfort in quiet existence. I feel the rhythm of life, acknowledge the vibrations connecting us and everything like a bright and proud spiderweb, fully extended and glistening in the sun with gorgeous beads of dew dropping their fat bottoms to the great green earth. I am alive. I am here. The sunshine invigorates me. I photosynthesize in silent ecstasy, pores open, skin hungrily accepting sunshine. Here is where I am meant to be. And I’m so frequently unsure of myself and my path, if my choices are taking me where I need to go, that this brief respite from fear fills my body with an openness, an airiness, a bloom. I am so in love with this moment. And it is in love with me. © 2018 K.L.Jax |
