I opened the door and you looked at me without eyes. It came flying back, the sharp ends of knives That you left when you left. And you're probably playing a guitar somewhere, Talking to girls I'd rather kill than look at, Or watching the smoke curl away from your cigarette and the long fingers that hold it But you were there in my bedroom Last night, for a minute. © 2012 Kaela Craven |
