Vampire Red

Vampire Red

A Poem by Kaela Craven
"

A song

"

Vampire red

And the rusty head

Of a quarter

Flipping in mid-air

Landing on the side I didn't pick

Eclipses roll

Away the stone

Of a liar

Enjoying every minute

Landing on the side I picked

And seagulls live in La Jolla

Like that girl in Monterey

And I need to change my attitude

All the pretty ones can say

But nobody has ever worked

As hard as me

Just to play

Vampire red

And the rusty head

Of a quarter

Flipping in mid-air

Landing on the side I didn't pick
