Splintered AirA Poem by Kaela Cravenmy mom's family mocks my dad and it pisses me offAmazing how difficult it is to breathe The splintered air You blew
You can touch him again Go ahead
Your hands are silk You've never touched an orange Burner
Just touch him again Go ahead
I've felt his words Unbalanced But they were not yours to judge They are mine and soon You will know it for a fact
Gentle hug A quiet word You can't imagine What it's like to be that good
You've never tested your nerves I'll take your hand And show you
I'll show you how to swallow the pill you broke Between your teeth Your lives were too cool to be cruel in any way So I'll show you how To be in pain
