Replace Reality

Replace Reality

A Poem by Kaela Craven

A text on the little black machine.

A message on my little black mind.

Since you left.

Since the idea of your leaving became real

All else has left me.

All else is unreal.

My voice sounds different on the air.

My words aren't my own.

I stare into the grey fleece

Like it was a monster's arm

As my lover holds me.

Everything will be alright

Words like toilet paper

Words like a keyboard

Words like glass on a blanket

Meaningless to the desire to replace reality

With

Purity.

A kind of a walk through in your mind, feeling your emotions as you do. I can relate to hearing your own voice... wow, it really doesn't sound like how you precieve think. lol Thanks for sharing! =)
