One Eye

One Eye

A Poem by Kaela Craven

One eye

They want me to see with.

One eye to see it all.

The floods of knowledge, the floods of doubt.

The floods, the floods.

The floods.

They want me to know you

The everlasting Father.

The everlasting truth

With one eye.

I have a hundred eyes to see through

Yet no one matters but the one.

One eye.
