Haikus from my Mexican vacationA Poem by Kaela Cravena series of haikus written on my trip to Kino Bay, MexicoMEXICAN VACATION This tan little boy Standing by whitewashed winter No christmas for him
THE ENEMY REASONING The coveted one She clings onto her master Her reward - to be his slave.
CONTROLLING LOVER Only look at me. I am your reason for life. Who needs a cult?
THE MOTHER Everything you do - Your life a mirror of her life - Let her down gently.
SPIRIT I see grass grow through And cement crush back. Is life God or death?
REVEALED To see this much ilfe Usually so hidden tight I hate the world.
HAIKUS I write small haikus Like gnats among dinosaurs In my collection.
HAIKUS 2 I write small haikus Much like dinosaurs from sap - Something in nothing.
UNCONTROLLING LOVER Socially willing But when paired, so forgetful. I need a new one.
