Bungee Jumping

Bungee Jumping

A Poem by Kaela Craven

Making it worse, I know.

But I am in no state to make it better.

It's been insult on injury today.

Actually, for more than a few days now.

Always something new.

Bungee cord around my ankles -

Too high

Then too low.

My stomach melting plastic.

My body's been listening too long to my heart,

And I fall.

I had a broken start.
