Too Many Patrons

Too Many Patrons

A Poem by Kaela Craven

My pain has been my muse
For too many years.
Ugliness and I
Have shared too many mirrors.
Far too many patrons
I've fed on for my grief.
Too few and far between -
My little waves of peace.

"Ugliness and I
Have shared too many mirrors" - wow. what an amazing way to put it. i love this. how ugliness becomes a separate identity, a pushy idea that hogs the mirror... often shoving you out of the picture.

interesting. you have a short style that really punctuates thought and emotion well.
