Before Skirts

Before Skirts

A Poem by Kaela Craven

Our bodies didn't bend to our boots
Our boots bent our bodies.
Her feet floating on grass
Before silver
Silver high heels
And strappy diamonds.
The short skirt in the corner
Made her fat knees look strange
When they used to look beautiful
Before skirts.

It's all about perception and deception I suppose. Good write. Brings up a good point about things such as change and how it is not always a good thing. Liked it.
