Suicide of farmers

Suicide of farmers

A Poem by writ rajat
"

this poem is based on the increasing number of farmers suicides in India

"
oh farmer don't do that,
because of you I can sit
on dining  table and eat,
just I cannot eat any more ,
the number of time I put my fingers into my mouth
to finish one time meal is very smidgen in comparison to number of deaths,
I cannot understand how frood people eat, eat and eat,
possibilities are that the person who grow grains may have died,
how can we keep them in the very very side
let us contribute let us sell our suit boot ,
to finish their dues from the root,
god will not forgive us for not taking it seriously,
they have also ate their grain when they were in avatars,
why are they dying continuously,
i hate government i hate democracy,
until they stop doing so much hypocrisy,

Another one of the unsung heroes of the world. Taken for granted by the minute with expectation. I like the topic choice and you did a really nice job driving home the importance of the subject matter.

Nice to hear it
Your words ring true. May they ring loud for all to hear. This poem is bold and brave. We must always question those in power that their hearts are in the right place or if they have one. Thank you for sharing
and God Bless

Every human on this planet must salute to the farmers, without them we wouldn't be able to enjoy variety of meals and survive.
It is so sad every time I see TV a news flashes that 'another farmer died of debt'. Why is this happening? Our government just speaks big words of abolishing poverty, let them first save the farmers.
Their words cannot change anything only their work, actions and a little humanity can do something in this matter. I hope they will understand or else there wouldn't be any farmers left.
My friend you have shown true emotions and feelings in your poem. Great writing, thanks for sharing...

Sure......:)
Yes, I am afraid it is a fact that modern democracy does not always benefit everyone. Smehow we don't always appreciate those we should appreciate most.
Your poignant poem says so much
good for you.

Thank you for sharing this tidbit of social commentary to help us (who don't hear of such issues in India) understand what's going on there. You've done a good job of showing the situation thru imagery, & showing intense feelings of unfairness, which kind of parallels how it is here in the USA with people who've lost the jobs of coal-mining, factory-work, etc. when so many new jobs require technical knowledge & training these days. Your word picture of the dire situation is quite unforgettable. Thanks for sharing the understanding of this problem.

thanks you
Good read, I love the tone and the message about how we shall respect the farmer and not take them for granted. But, to appreciate and symbolize them as heroes of the common man. I love it. Good job!

Just the last line in it that at the end should have a period everything else looks good.
Farmers, what could I say everything is explained here, let's do our good to them, that's all I can ask for every individual...
Thank you Rajat for sharing the emotion..:)
