Corruption

It is a thing which is happening in my country

A  man who is very fond of honesty,

soon becomes corrupted,

A man who is very fond of safety ,

soon becomes unsafe,

A man who loves his country ,

soon begins to critise,

why? why? why?,

please try to understand the matter is so simple,

some money release by our government 

for the welfare of poor,

does not reach the poor

but is shared by the wrong doer

they do not deserve it

from the grant for actually poor ,

the money which government release,

are put under the corrupt people freeze,

after that when real poor come,

they are not given even some

from the few of them,

sorry but that is true

Writ, there is corruption similar to what you speak of, in every country, be it a third world country or even a country that is viewed as being well off as are many countries in the west including my own. The corruption exists because there is greed in the hearts of many men, esp. men when they are not used to wielding power for the good of the many and not just themselves. I see examples of it here every day. In India, I do not imagine you have the programs for the poor and needy that exist here, I can only imagine how it is. Your poem however was an eye-opener for me Thank you!
