Writ, I understand momentary rushes of sexual heat or even just a general blood-rush, that tingle we get when our sensory system is aroused. I can imagine a cultural taboo about speaking perhaps to a female stranger that you do not know as well. I'll bet buses in India are quite crowed, easy to get separated, but if you were not going to talk to her anyway(you two were unknown)! In the blink of an an eye is quick here as well as in India.
