In my pocket.

In my pocket.

A Poem by Katie Ann
"

A little possessive. haha.

"
I'd put you in my pocket if I could
You say you get it but I'm misunderstood
I'd keep you within the denim, next to the lace
so I could pull you out and stare at your face
I'd put you in my pocket, yes, I might
I'd bring you out and let you shine in the light
You'd sparkle for me and I for you
If I could put you in my pocket, my pocket would do
If I could put you in my pocket
I'd take you there, everywhere, indeed
I'd keep you there and give you all you need
I'd put you in my pocket and you'd be mine
I'd put you there and you'd curse every line
There'd be no question where you stand
I'd take you out and hold your hand
I'd put you in my pocket for only me
I'd even cut a hole for you to see
I'd put you there and walk you home
take you out and let you roam
I'd put you in my pocket and tear down the stars
Give you one and let you go far
I'd let you go and set you free
as long as you'll return to my pocket,
just for me.
