My Anime Fantasia

A poem that dates about to 3 years ago so I wrote it when I was 11 XD oh the memories

Staring at the magic box 
I can't help but twirl my locks 
Desperate for my fantasy man 
The genius of the whatever clan 

I squealed in girlish delight 
As he fought with glorious might 
But my friends laugh at my actions 
"Does this 2D man deserve such affections?" 

Why must I be lost in fantasy? 
I ask you o cruel reality 
Why can't I love normally? 
With someone tangible to my touch 

I wish I can grow up from this world 
For I am a child of incredible quirk 
I want to taste reality sweet as cake 
And perhaps from this dream I will wake
