Mount Surmounting

Mount Surmounting

A Poem by Onoma

With a dual-handed slap of the thighs, a
spastic command was conveyed to body
take leave of the table, ennoble its perimeter.
Bird's beaks were caulking gnarled branches
with spittle...arias overran the program
sheets.
Busied with primacy land rose to smell the
curious buds of clouds, regaled the fragrance
to allow their free-associating blooms.
The steroscopic vision of flies caught the
trailer of a messianic figure.
Who was a sprinkling sheen in lolls of childlike
vision...a slinky winding up a marble white
staircase.
Lilies were made of do, as they did--bespeaking
their superiority to Solomon's empire.
As a single hair follicle cannot arise from the
scalp...without so said, so saying exigence--
time encapsulated between let it...and be.
Once upon a timing...let it..and be, were the
Mount surmounting a Man.
Till he took one step, and thus spoke down
to all people.
