Three & a Half Eyes

Three & a Half Eyes

A Poem by Onoma

a dot.
the tip of a
serpent's tail nestled
between its tongue.
razzing.
have you a coiled
pebble--
a blizzard parsing
its skin smoothly.
vestigial colorations,
as if three & a half
eyes see nothing
else.
