Golden Sporks

Golden Sporks

A Poem by Onoma

clay boutonniere
in a kiln.
plague doctors in
beaked masks--
retrieving the semblage
of a carnation.
with golden sporks
the size of spatulas.
split three and a half ways.
prattling beaks.
