If we can be strangers again
I love you will be the first utterance A kiss on your lip the gesture I won't discipline my intentions But break rules of intimacy There will be no compliments Because you complement a union Feelings will be laid bare Like cards on a table Then boundaries won't hold So privacy will die with us Thoughts won't be cautious Rather free flowing The future will be void of "what ifs" No fears and "had I knowns" Made full of "what next" And even "better - bests". © 2017 bediako |
