Lullaby

Lullaby

A Poem by bediako
"

What they whisper to one another before sleeping.

"
Girl:
My rainbow lies over the ocean.
He lies over the sea.
Wish the winds would blow him closer
To me and for me
Where he finds rest and sleep .

Boy:
My sunshine ripens only the mornings
She ushers in the nights
Thought she could be the moon also
Then I'd careless about bright stars
When she cuddles me in..

Girl:
He's my daydream and fairytale
I'll sleep for eternity so long as
His calm warm breath tickles my cheeks
And our nuptial union begets only love.

Boy:
She's that fantasy,why I'm insomnious each night.
I'll always stay awake
Just to enjoy how she grips on to me
And rest like baby in a mothers bosom.
