A Poem by mason

I've got a stack of empty notebooks.
I but a new one every day.
In the hope that one day I might
Have something to say.

I sit here with a pencil
Make believing that I'm deep.
Make believing I'm a thinker,
or at very lease a creep.

What I'm lacking in description,
I balance out with lack of style.
Where I'm lacking in direction,
I make up for with denial.

I've got nothing but potential.
Atrophied and out of line.
As though nothings worth the bother.
Treading water, Killing time.

i really like this poem. i'm in the middle of the worst writer's block and i can relate to what you say. it's ironic because you're writing about not being able to write, and here you are, writing a great poem.
