A Poem by serpentine
"

he was never mine, and he'll never know that he broke my heart.

"
The stars you were born by
go well with mine
and, at one time,
that excited you.
When my future showed
ten swords in my back,
you said that cards
don't understand good or evil.

And I needed you.
And I need you.

How cruel it is
to have discovered
that you are all ten swords
that I walk around with
and pretend not to notice.

And I hate you for
every f*****g broken bone,
and how you don't even know
that you've left me alone.
I just sit with good memories
and I cry
and get stoned

And I needed you.
And I need you.

I really like the symbolism in this poem , you have a lot of talent and i'm glad i could read a work with a similar style as mine with a different PoV, best of luck!

The title drew me in. I'm glad it did. Well done.
