Envy in His Eyes

Envy in His Eyes

A poem of envy.

                                        Envy in His Eyes

I see him, again, my old friend,

But not quite the same, no, not quite.

A quick flash in his eyes,

Of hatred 'till the very end.

I see the glare like green flame,

Flying off his eyes like ice,

So cold is it that I can almost feel the dagger tearing down my back,

I shout as I fall to the ground,

All the while, I can feel his cold dagger eyes in the back of my head,

Eminating green sins,

His eyes flashing with it,

He is driven by it,

Envy

I actually really like this.
The words are descriptive and i love the way you put the words together.

And the symbolism...the green, i mean. I haven't read a poem like this in a long time.
You have inspired me!

Great job.
Awsome write.

Rina
