I was at a Christian Collation they said the same thing over and over again. They said something along the lines that society is sick and you need to change society. They are talking along the lines of abortion and sexual sin, as the main causes of society's problems while I am looking at the whole picture. There are two main causes for this in my humble mind.

I know that society was not always like it is now. The question I propose is what caused society to change and what changed it? I first thought of the Protestant Reformation and how it forever spilt the Christian faith. Before that it was "join Christianity or see G-d immediately." That led to the deaths of many forms of Paganism and many sects of Christianity that didn’t hold the trinity sacred. The Catholic churches power waned and then the church lost so much influence that new religions are now propagating. With its decline Neo Paganism, Wicca, New Age, and many other religions have sprung up.

The decline of the Catholic Church has led to the mindless pursuit of pleasure. People who would be great Christians have been led astray by the decline of the Catholic Church. This has made is so easy to go astray from G-d. People try replace G-d with sex and other fleeting pleasures. Yes it is a need that we have as human beings but only in the G-d given ways. It is a way of more deeply understanding G-d not just a frill.

The decline of the Catholic Church has also lead to alternate views of G-d. Recently there was a theory that said that all G-ds were unidentified aliens. The logical argument is flawless that it would seem to very primitive people that high technology people would look like G-ds. The problem is that if the primitive peoples wonder of would eventually die if it was that little to base all religion on. That being said there would be more evidence of an alien visitation. The whole theory is mostly based on the Bible weirdly. They often use the Bible to verify their theories. This is funny in the fact they are denning religion but using the word of G-d to do so. The Bible itself is a great agreement against the ancient alien theory. It is a perfect record of early Jewish history and to be so perfect after so long is a gift from G-d. An alien can’t help keep the Bible perfect.

It is an interesting fact that only 9% of Americans are atheist. That means that it is a need have a higher power or it is a valid claim. It brings me to alternate religions to help cope with the world. It is helpful for people to know that their family is in heaven or a feared tyrant is in hell. Almost all religions have a version of heaven or hell. Which means it is a universal truth and can’t be denied. It is a darn same that people will deny the truth to be part of another religion. The Bible isn’t perfect based on the New Testament but it is still the word of G-d.

The second problem is the Capitalism. It has made being faithful to religion tougher than it was meant to be. I think Adam Smith said it best when he said that we think our own self-interest. This means that we think of ourselves first and then we think of G-d. This is not the only issue with capitalism and I will go into more detail in the next few paragraphs.

The first problem is that Capitalism is extremely fragile. That is without government intervention it would fail apart. That is the natural flows of depression and bounce back is a lie. Without government assistance that we would of never got out of the depression. It is partly the fault of the capitalists for being so greedy. Government has to give them tax cuts so the capitalists companies don’t fall apart. The capitalists don’t use for the right reasons and put in their pockets as profit. They say it helps us all which it does but it should be allowed to fail.

The next problem of the capitalists is the problem of poverty. That is just how capitalism works someone haves to starve for another person to thrive. The rich are stealing the food out of the mouths of others so they can live extravagant life styles. In the mean while there is a 15.1% poverty rate in the United States caused by the capitalists.

Another problem of the capitalism is the fact it sells sin. It sells sin because it sells. You can’t watch television without seeing sexually arousing scenes. They use it to sell you stuff which is how capitalism works. Now how to avoid it you can’t under capitalism. I find it annoying that I almost have to shut off the world to avoid such influences.

The next problem is an epidemic in the world. The problem of drugs is an underlying cancer in society. This problem is sometimes called the falling of capitalism to the addicted. It is a problem the capitalist system will not be able to solve. The profit margin is huge if you compare the estimated value of the drugs sold. There was a 65 billion dollars compare that to the pitiful in comparison in 1998 Microsoft made 14.48 billion dollars. While money still exists people will always have a supplier.

I bring to you solutions to the problems of capitalism. The first problem is the fact that it is not fragile. You need to realize socialism is as strong as society. Society is normally a stable so you don’t have to worry about socialism failing without society failing first. The second problem is solved by the fact that socialism is brought down by short term gains. Poverty is not relevant in socialism just because everyone has the same quality of life. Since money doesn’t exist in socialism drug addiction will burn itself out.

Will you allow you to be brought down by the capitalists? There is an alternative to turn to it is not too late. If you don’t change you will be brought before Jesus and he will ask why you allowed the world to kill itself and you will have no answer. Will you allow the world to destroy itself or will you change it.
